This DC-DC step-down module is based on the MP1584EN chip, which is capable of driving a 3 A load and converts input voltages between 4.5 V to 28 V into a lower voltage between 0.8 V to 20 V. This is suitable for applications which need a highly efficient power converter.

Works great

Using one to power a Raspberry Pi inside of a 3D printer to run Octoprint. Works great.

    Absolutely perfect for controlling small fans

    Needed to convert my 3D printer's 24 volt psu to 12v for several small fans. These little guys work perfectly, I was able to easily adjust it to output about 10.0V for my cooling fans.

      Clean output and stable at low load

      This product produces a nice stable output when dropping from 12VDC to 9VDC. I put slightly less than 1/4 W load on the device so that it can regulate properly. I also connected a 33KuF cap on the output as that is part of the load it will endure. It manages the voltage on the capacitor very nicely.

        Great voltage regulators

        Excellent adjustable voltage regulators.. don't get hot, provide a solid voltage feed with raises and falls that stay within 1 to 2 hundredths a volt.. give a fairly clean output voltage

          Small, efficient, works as advertised

          I'm using this module for an LCD screen clock and so far, its powering and regulating within its advertised parameters. It also takes up minimal protoboard space which is a big plus. I'm feeding in 9V and it's regulating to a steady 5V with high efficiency. So sturdy product.

              Excellent product!! Worked perfect

              Works great to regulate voltage down. I used it to regulate my Makita 18 volt batteries to work on a 14.4 volt camera system. Worked perfect. Easy to install if you know how to solder.

                Easy to make 12V from 24

                Ordered these so I could power a couple 12V cooling fans off the supply in a 24V CNC router. Turned the voltage all the way down, soldered up the wiring, adjusted the voltage level and cooling flows freely. Simple to use, gets the job done.
