Description


Here is a very simple breadboard power supply kit that takes power from a DC wall wart and outputs a selectable 5 V or 3.3 V regulated voltage. The 1" headers are mounted on the bottom of the PCB for simple insertion into a breadboard, so that the pins labeled VCC and GND are plugged directly into the power lines. The lone pair of pins have no electrical connection but help to support the PCB.

There are two pins available within the barrel jack footprint. Any stripped +/- DC supply can be connected instead of the barrel connector. Board has both an On/Off switch and a voltage select switch (3.3 V / 5 V).

It is versatile and fits most of the breadboards. You can use it to power your custom micro controller projects, or as an auxiliary supply for the 3.3 V sensors from your Arduino projects.

I love these little power supplies for breadboard work. It provides 5 V or 3.3 volts on either rail - selectable by rail.

    Fantastic for Bread-boarding

    When I used to breadboard circuits, I would always add a voltage regulator to the breadboard with the necessary capacitors. This product makes it even quicker to wire up a circuit because it gives you either a regulated 3.3 or 5 Volts DC (depending on your jumper selection) all on one PCB. All I can say, is that I wish I would have got this product sooner and I highly recommend it!

        Very nice quality

        I purchased this for a project that was a little more meaningful to me, and that I wanted a nice power source for. This is better quality than I purchased elsewhere, but I feel it is worth it.
