Good for many different tasks

Perfect for my purpose. My big soldering iron was too bulky. My pencil soldering iron could not solder 14 gauge copper. With this soldering iron I was able to adjust the iron to the perfect temperature.

The best iron I've had in the past 3 years

I use a soldering iron for building modules and other electronics. I can't think how many I've just given up and thrown them out. My last one worked well but the tips were expensive to replace and really too large for my work. I've used this iron on several projects so far and am absolutely sold on it!

Great little soldering iron for the price. Came with an assortment of tips. No, I wouldn't use this for fine electronics. But for wires, welding a gas tank, and cutting paranoid it works great.

Variable temp settings, fast heat, good selection of tips

Pretty cool set. Nice selection of tips. Variable temp settings are easy to adjust. Another plus is it heats relatively quickly. Wonderful set for the price.

Electronics is fun again!

I've been using an ancient, low powered soldering iron for a while now, and it had made tinkering with electronics a chore. With this, I can solder and desolder things very quickly and easily--I love it! I no longer dread having to solder things; I actually enjoy it!

Great purchase

I had an older soldering station that I would have had to pay over thousand peso to replace. It died, so I thought I would try this rather than going for the high end one. It works very well, plenty of power, temperature controlled and comes with a variety of tips. Great purchase, highly recommended.

Good value and heats quickly

Very pleased with this iron for the money. Quick to reach temperature and does a good job for the hobbyist. Used about a dozen times in the first week and have been very pleased with the quality of the joints. Not sure how long it will last but for the price it paid for itself in the first week of use
