This is a break out board for DRV8825 micro stepping bipolar stepper motor driver. It can drive a bipolar stepper motor with an output current of up to 2.5 A per coil. It is suitable for driving a stepper motor from a power supply of 8.2 V to 45 V.
The DRV8825 stepper motor driver carrier board TI DRV8825 micro-bipolar stepper motor driver is a breakthrough. This module has a pin distribution and interface that is almost the same as our A4988 stepper motor driver carrier, so it can be used as a higher performance drop-down menu replacement for these boards in many applications. DRV8825 has adjustable current limit, overcurrent and overheat protection, six micro resolutions (downward 1/32-step). It uses 8.2-45 V and can provide up to about 1.5 per phase without heat sink or forced air flow (rated up to 2.2 per roll with enough additional cooling).
1. Simple step and direction control interface

4. Thermal shutdown over temperature, over current shutdown, under voltage lockout

7. Exposed soldering of the driver IC underneath the grounding pad on the bottom of the printed circuit board.
8. The module size, pins and interface match the A4988 stepper motor driver operator in many ways.
9. The adjustable current control allows you to set a potentiometer, which allows you to use the step, enter the voltage above the rated voltage of the motor to achieve a higher step rate and output the maximum current.
10. Intelligent chopper control can automatically select the correct current attenuation mode (fast or slow attenuation)
11. Maximum 45 V power supply voltage
12. Built-in voltage regulator (requires any external logic power supply voltage)

Quality product. Reliable Brand
In the past I purchased many of these stepper motor controllers from a variety of sellers and gotten ripped up by receiving broken or cheap-quality modules that fall apart after integrating. With this seller, all of the pieces I received were in excellent condition and the potentiometers on each piece were intact and resilient to adjustment. I am driving nema 17's at 2A 24v power supply I have had no issues and the product has functioned incredibly well for its price.

Made my 3D printer much quieter
These little boards are a great replacement for the standard 16 microstep driver and provide a 32 step option. If used to increase microsteps and quiet the stepper motors, Marlin software or printer settings must be changed for double the step rate or measurements will be off by 2X.
Excellent stepper driver
Excellent product. Was shocked to find out it supports 1/32 stepping. As always, vary your voltage before attaching your steppers. Mine were all around 0.6V except one that was at 2+V which could have fried my motor.

Work Great, Inexpensive
I bought these to replace some other DRV8825s. This works great and are relatively quiet. I'm using this on a RAMPS 1.4 board with an Arduino MEGA 2560.
