DHT22 is a high-performance temperature and humidity sensor capable of long-distance signal transmission.
The product is inexpensive, small and handy and has high reliability and excellent stability. It has a temperature measuring sensor and the relative humidity is measured using a capacitive moisture sensor. Those sensing elements are pre-calibrated and the output is provided as a digital signal.

Stable and Accurate
Works exactly as described with a Raspberry Pi 3! Both temperature and humidity appear to be accurate and stable.
Great upgrade to the DHT11
I was using DHT11 modules previously, and then I figured I would try the DHT22's. I like the DHT22's better. they seem a little more accurate, and some issues with the DHT11's have been corrected.
Easy to use!
I've found it easy to use & find a library for. Had the best experience using the Adafruit library version 1.2.3 in github. Very accurate, though apply silicone to exposed metal pins if placed in an exceptionally humid environment. The more humid the environment the shorter the life as it goes with any hardware with metal parts. Highly recommend!
Perfect for Raspberry Pi
Amazingly accurate and stable. Directly connects to a Raspberry Pi with just 3 wires. Make sure that you build the git drivers from adafruit.
A good sensor and learning tool
Cool Humidity and Temperature sensors used with a raspberry pi. Tutorials call for a 10k resistor between signal and ground, but I believe that the little board that this sensor is mounted to is taking care of that. In my tests the results were the same with and without the additional resistor.

Accurate and easy to use
These are as accurate as any other thermometer and hygrometer I have in my home. I connected these up to some Raspberry Pi Zeros and set them up in a few rooms in my house where the temperature fluctuates wildly so I could monitor the temperature remotely on my phone. I set up a website that displays the reading from these sensors and sends me text alerts when the temperature or humidity go outside of some defined limits.
Works great on my Raspberry pi
Got these hooked up to my Raspberry Pi in about 15 minutes. Accurate enough for me, use very little power overall, and seem sturdy enough for my use.
Everything Works Great
Easy to use and much better than the DHT11. Ensure you have a 10kOhm resistor connecting the data line to the vcc of your power supply. I'm using this for the Arduino microcontroller and everything works well. The code can be accessed by searching dht22 arduino code.
Simple and accurate
This temperature/humidity sensor works well and is simple to set up. I had it connected to my Arduino and feeding data to my computer in just a few minutes. Credit the incredible support the Arduino community provides and the perfect functioning of the sensor. I would recommend this sensor as a great addition to a weather monitor or similar project.
