Handy tool for all home owners for an AWESOME price!

This is a handy tool to have in a homeowners toolbox. This works great for testing RJ45 and RJ11. I used it on a good line and it showed it was good, then tested it on a bad line and showed exactly which wire was the broken one. If you are not an expert at making CAT5 or CAT6 cables this is a wonderful tool to check your work for an awesome price.

Great budget tool for an excellent price

I saw several of these tools for quite a bit more than what they are charging. This product was cheap, was delivered in time, and worked exactly like it was supposed to. I used this tool because I had nine individual Ethernet runs going into one central location, and had no way of troubleshooting which lines were not working correctly. This tool let me locate which run terminated where, and also, what the issue was. Using this tool, I was able to figure out which ends I needed to re-terminate and which wall plates I needed to replace.
For the price, this really cannot be beat. If I can even get one year out of this tool, I will be satisfied.

Easy to use, does what it says.

This unit is sold under number of brand names. I had one stamped with a better known brand but it did not work. This one works flawlessly and quickly identified a problem with Pin 8 in one of my Ethernet connections. Easy to use. Plug one into each end of an Ethernet run and turn it on.

Worked great

Worked flawlessly every time. Saved a lot of aggravating time knowing that the cables I put together had the correct cable in the correct slot and there was a good connection.

Excellent in its simplicity

If you're a DIYer and don't want to shell out hundreds for a Fluke, this is the tool for you. It easily lets you know about the most common issues faced when building cables: continuity and order. It works very well for that. When you screw up the order or your crimping, this will let you know.

It works fantastic

Spent almost 2 days trying to track down the end of one wire that matched the end of a bundle of other wires. Was extremely frustrated so I bought this little gem. I’m almost more frustrated that once it came in a few days later, I found the right wire in about 30 seconds. It works fantastic
